We're Hiring! - FWS Front Desk Student Assistant

This position is for Federal Work Study recipients only. The student assistant (SA) will serve as a receptionist for the University Writing Center and will assist the Director and Coordinator(s) with administrative tasks for the remainder of the Spring 2025 semester. As a front desk team member, you will help us create a friendly and welcoming environment for students seeking our services.

We're Hiring! - Writing Tutors

Tutors in the University Writing Center (UWC) provide individualized instruction in the writing process to É«ÖÐÉ« students in a variety of settings and contexts—one-on-one tutoring, group tutoring, embedded tutoring, and writing workshops. Tutors will be called upon to provide writing instruction in person and/or via Zoom. This position is for Fall 2025 - Spring 2026. Federal Work Study can be used for this position.

We are your campus-wide writing-focused tutoring center. We offer various tutoring services and workshops for students across the campus, from one-on-one in-depth consultations where you can get answers to your writing questions to workshops on taking the GPE, writing strong arguments, and proofreading. Our goal is to help you become an effective and independent writer.
