Hilary Norcliffe
Hilary is a Canadian Californian who started out on a career path in Health Psychology before veering into Fine Art. Hilary has an eclectic range of art interests and teaches across a variety of art media. She also has several years of experience teaching art to adults with disabilities.
Her strongest creative interest is currently in writing and illustrating Children鈥檚 Picture Books. She is a member of SCBWI (Society for Children鈥檚 Book Writers and Illustrators) and has more ideas for stories than she has time to realize.
Hilary is also passionate about the problem of climate change and creatively addresses this through Found-Object sculpture. She recently created 23 found-wood pieces for 鈥淪t. Broxville Wood 鈥 Into the Thicket,鈥 exhibited in the Kellogg Gallery at Cal Poly Pomona with fellow alums Jennifer Gunlock and Katie Stubblefield. (link to )

Hilary is currently working on a picture book that can be used as both a hiking companion on a trail in Joshua Tree National Park, as well as a bedtime story.
