The Office of Equity & Compliance
Who We Are:
ɫɫ’s Office of Equity & Compliance (OEC) reviews allegations of Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation as it relates to protected status* as well as Sexual Misconduct, Sexual Harassment, Dating/Domestic Violence, and Stalking at ɫɫ. Equity & Compliance provides trainings to campus constituents, and manages related Federal and State legal compliance requirements for students, employees, and University third parties.
*Protected statuses includes: Age, Disability, Gender, Gender Identity, Gender Expression, Genetic Information, Marital Status, Medical Condition, Nationality, Race or Ethnicity, Religion, Sexual Orientation, and Veteran or Military Status
How to Report:
- OEC’s 24/7 Online Reporting Form: To request support regarding a sexual misconduct or discrimination, harassment, or retaliation matter, please click on the above, yellow “Report” button to access our 24/7 online reporting form.
- Report Forward: Please provide critical information so we might be able to provide helpful outreach to Parties and offer campus rights and resources. Information that will be helpful are: incident details, date & time (approximate), location, contact information for Parties effected, Witnesses, and any relevant documentations (if available - i.e. texts, emails, photos, etc.) Upon receipt of the form, the OEC Team will review this information within 1-2 business days and identify an OEC Manager who will follow up with effected Parties who may need resources.
- Anonymous Complaints: Please Note- Equity & Compliance practices sensitivity and privacy rights regarding student and employees’ information that aligns with CSU policies. Per , the University may have limited capability to take further or full action if key information is missing, unavailable, or if the Complaining Party requests anonymity and/or does not wish to move forward with a complaint. Equity & Compliance will make every good faith effort available to provide Parties with appropriate support, information, and reasonable action based on available information.
How to Book a Training:
- Request a Training: OEC provides educational workshops for faculty, staff, and students. Workshops may range from 30-90 minutes. Please click on the yellow “Training” button above and provide the required information needed to request a training (i.e. contact information, requested training date/time, length of training time, number of participants, location, and Zoom or in person). An OEC Team member will get back to you in 2-3 business days with follow up information.
- Please Note: OEC needs 1-2 weeks advance notice to prepare educational materials and ensure an OEC Team member is available to provide this program. The OEC Team will come in with a laptop, Power Point slide deck, and training materials. We request that host provide the training location, LCD projector/screen, audio, and training audience.
