The Center for Successful Aging is proud to share our 2020-2021 Annual Report. This past year brought about numerous collaborations, increased community engagement, and the implementation of programs to better serve the needs of older adults through the challenges of a global pandemic.

The City of Long Beach has collaborated with California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF), EveryoneOn and human-I-T to create a centralized digital platform where community members can find low-cost internet and computer services.

What do Older Adults and People with Disabilities Need to Know + New information on COVID-19 vaccination

The National institute on aging is accepting applications for the 2020 NIA Butler-Williams Scholars Program.

Scholarship for Health and Independence of Seniors  Scan Health Plan is offering Undergraduate and Graduate students enrolled in majors within the College of Health & Human Services the opportunity to receive scholarships of up to $5,000 per awardee.

Ten Cal State Long Beach students from the College of Health and Human services were selected to receive scholarships of $5,000  each. The scholarships were created courtesy of the SCAN Health Plan and were awarded in collaboration with the Center for Successful Aging at Cal State Long Beach.

We would like to thank all who attended our May 10th event aiming to further develop opportunities between ɫ��ɫ and the broader community in improving quality of life for older adults in Long Beach and beyond.    

We are happy to announce a series of events for National Healthcare Decisions Day that we are co-sponsoring along with The Institute for Human Caring, Memorial Care, Olli and StoryCorps.
