色中色 School Counseling alumni named emerging leaders

Three alumni from the Cal State Long Beach School Counseling program have been selected as emerging leaders for the California Association of School Counselors (CASC). The aims to identify and nurture potential leaders within the school counseling profession in California.
The three alumni are:
- Bailey Adling, 鈥22, elementary school counselor, Fountain Valley Unified School District
- Julaina Juarez, 鈥23, high school counselor, Los Angeles Unified School District
- Fedelia Suleiman, 鈥22, elementary school counselor, Santa Ana Unified School District
"We are immensely proud to see our alumni being acknowledged as emerging leaders by the California Association of School Counselors," said Associate Professor Caroline Lopez-Perry. 鈥淭he CASC School Counseling Emerging Leader Program offers a unique opportunity for these individuals to enhance their leadership skills and engage in meaningful projects that contribute to the betterment of the school counseling profession in California.鈥
As part of this program, the alumni will have access to various leadership opportunities provided by CASC.
