Welcome to the Electrical Engineering Department at California State University, Long Beach! We are a diverse community of 15 faculty, 19 lecturers, 102 graduate students, and over 450 undergraduates. Whatever future you envision for yourself in the related area of electrical engineering and engineering technology, our department will help you reach your goals. The Electrical Engineering Department is committed to provide affordable, quality undergraduate and graduate education in the areas (i) Electronics – Analog and Digital, (ii) Controls, Automation and Robotics, (iii) Digital Signal Processing & Communications, (iv) Biomedical Engineering, (v) Power & Energy and (vi) Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology. The presence of outstanding faculty, skilled professionals, hard-working and compassionate staff, and state of the art laboratory facilities provides a unique opportunity for each student to be able to have a fruitful time and a bright future during their career in EE department at É«ÖÐÉ«.
Electrical engineering is a field that is continuously evolving. As new technologies arise and existing ones evolve, the educational offerings of the EE department at É«ÖÐÉ« are a moving frontier.
