Ever wondered what it takes to launch and run a successful restaurant? Join us for Dinner with Twelve: 鈥淐areers in Restaurant Hospitality鈥 with Jason Cervantes '13, co-owner of lil鈥 Vegerie in Redondo Beach. Jason brings over 30 years of experience in restaurant management, food and beverage operations, and entrepreneurship. Enjoy great food, connect with fellow alumni in the industry, and gain insights into what it takes to thrive in hospitality!

Jason Cervantes

Jason Cervantes is a seasoned hospitality professional with over 30 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. Formerly the Director of Food and Beverage at Hotel Maya in Long Beach, Jason's career has spanned leadership roles at renowned establishments such as Bestia and Rock 鈥楴 Fish. In May 2022, he launched lil' Vegerie in Redondo Beach with his partner Scarlett, combining his passion for innovative cuisine with his deep industry expertise. Recognized for their vision to make vegan food accessible and delicious as well as for their fantastic food, lil鈥 Vegerie was recently named #1 on Yelp鈥檚 Top 100 Vegan Restaurants in the United States.
